How a service begins
Every service at Lestari Tempo begins the same way — with an intake assessment. Before any work is planned, the watch is examined, photographed, and its current condition noted in writing. Specific concerns raised by the owner are recorded alongside our own observations from the initial look.
From that intake, we confirm which service is appropriate, outline what the work involves, and provide a clear indication of timing and cost. Nothing proceeds without the owner's agreement in writing.

Service 01
Watchmaker's Movement Service
MYR 970
A traditional service approach for mechanical and automatic calibres, suitable for both daily-worn references and pieces returning to regular use after a period of storage. The work begins with a written intake assessment, photographs of the watch's current state, and consultation with the owner about specific concerns.
The movement is fully disassembled, with each component cleaned through staged ultrasonic processes, inspected under magnification, and reassembled with carefully selected lubrication on each contact surface. Mainsprings, pivot ends, and pallet stones are evaluated and renewed where wear has progressed beyond operating tolerance. Following reassembly, the movement is regulated across multiple positions and observed over several days.
- Written intake assessment and photography
- Full disassembly and staged ultrasonic cleaning
- Surface-specific lubrication under magnification
- Multi-position regulation with timing machine reporting
- Several days of post-assembly observation
Typical timeline: 3–5 weeks

Case Polishing Service
MYR 860
A measured approach to restoring the external surfaces of a watch case while preserving its original geometry and design intent. The case is fully disassembled from the movement and bracelet, and each surface is evaluated independently.
Light scratches and surface marks are addressed using progressive abrasives matched to the original surface treatment. Brushed surfaces are grained with the correct directionality, and polished surfaces are treated to retain crisp transitions to brushed zones. Owners with vintage references can request conservation-only treatment. Includes a basic water resistance check on reassembly.
- Full case disassembly from movement and bracelet
- Independent evaluation of each surface zone
- Brushed surfaces re-grained with correct directionality
- Conservation-only option available for vintage pieces
- Basic water resistance check on reassembly
Typical timeline: 2–3 weeks

Service 03
Heritage Restoration Programme
MYR 2,140
An extended pathway for watches requiring comprehensive attention — typically pieces stored without service for many years, that have suffered impact damage, or recently acquired without service documentation. The programme combines full movement service, case and bracelet restoration with conservation in mind, gasket renewal and pressure testing, dial and hands review, and where appropriate, sourcing of correct replacement components.
The owner is consulted throughout, with key decisions confirmed in writing. A photographic record covers each major stage, and a written condition report is prepared upon completion. Timelines run from ten to sixteen weeks.
- Full movement service and case restoration combined
- Gasket renewal and pressure testing
- Dial and hands condition review
- Photographic record at each major stage
- Written condition report on completion
Timeline: 10–16 weeks

Parts decisions, scope changes, and surface treatment options require written confirmation from the owner.
Secure piece storage
Watches are stored securely when not on the workbench. Access is restricted to workshop personnel only.
Timing machine reporting
Rate, amplitude, and beat error are measured and reported for all movement services before return.
Owner updates throughout
Clients are kept informed at key points. You should not need to ask where your watch is in the process.
